Photonix Ar5v
This spectrophotometer is capable of providing fast (lower than a second) and simultaneous spectral collection (in the range of 380-800 nm).

The benefits of array technology include very fast scanning
with ability to scan all wavelengths range of 380-800 nm
(380-1100 nm) in less than 1second, which can be used for

fast chemical reactions and denaturing materials.
Traditional spectrophotometers use stepper motors to select
the required wavelength, while with array technology each
wavelength is selected by electrical scanning which results
   in excellent wavelength reproducibility.

Vis spectrophotometer is an analytical instrument which finds a wide variety of applications such as:

- Determination of elements by means of complexing agents

- Determination of anions and ammonia

- Water analyses

- Determination of organic compounds

- Enzymatic analysis and enzyme kinetics

- It can be used as a detector for HPLC

- The wavelengths of absorption peaks can be correlated with the types of bonds in a given molecule and are valuable in determining the functional groups within a molecule

- It can be used in the semiconductor industry to measure the thickness and optical properties of thin films on a wafer

On the other hand, Vis spectrophotometer is widely used in industrial, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, nanotechnology applications and etc. Herein, a brief description of application of absorption spectrophotometry in nanotechnology is discussed as follows.
