The device is capable of providing fast (lower than a second) and simultaneous spectral collection (in the range of 380-800 nm).

   The benefits of array technology include very fast scanning
   with ability to scan all wavelengths range of 380-800 nm
   (380-1100 nm) in less than 1second, which can be used for
   fast chemical reactions and denaturing materials.
   Traditional spectrophotometers use stepper motors to select     
   the required wavelength, while with array technology each
   wavelength is selected by electrical scanning which results
   in excellent wavelength reproducibility.
